Homecoming 2010: Be a part of the celebration!

Here’s a look at what’s in store for Homecoming Weekend, scheduled for October 1-2, 2010.

Return to TCNJ for Homecoming Weekend on October 1–2 to meet up with friends, cheer on your Lions football team, and check out the campus! Listed below is a sample of what’s being planned for that weekend. Click here to visit the Alumni Affairs Web site for an up-to-date schedule of events and to register for certain events.

Second Annual Tailgate Contest!
Get those competitive juices flowing, because Alumni Association members will again be sponsoring a tailgating contest in the following categories:

• Most Elaborate Tailgate
• Most School Spirit Tailgate
• Most Unusual Tailgate

Tailgate must be set up by 10:30 a.m. Winners will be notified by 11:30 a.m. and will have their tailgate and group picture highlighted on www.tcnjmagazine.com!

Free Tent Space: Do you have a group of friends, sorority sisters, fraternity brothers, or organization members who want to get together at homecoming, but get here too late to get a spot or don’t have a tent? We will supply a 10’ x 10’ tent and one table for you to use for your group/organization’s tailgate. Space is limited, so only the first 10 groups that click here to fill out the online application and submit the refundable $200 deposit (via check, made out to TCNJ Alumni Affairs, or credit card) will be able to secure the location.

Parking Info: General parking for Homecoming is located in the Lions’ Stadium Parking Deck. Alumni who wish to tailgate should park in Lots 2–5. RVs are not allowed in parking lots.

Hotel Information: A block of rooms has been reserved for Friday, October 1, and Saturday, October 2, at the hotels listed below. Reservations should be made directly with your chosen hotel by September 1, 2010. You must mention “TCNJ Homecoming” in order to receive these special rates.

A shuttle bus will be provided to and from campus on Saturday, October 2, for guests staying at the Marriott Trenton Lafayette Yard and the Springhill Suites by Marriott–Ewing.
