Leaving a Legacy
A salute to two members of the TCNJ family whose foresight and thoughtfulness will benefit future students in their academic endeavors.
Wilma E. Benka (née Lent) of Allentown, PA, bequeathed a gift to TCNJ in her will. She was born in Pennwell, NJ, in 1914 and passed away on May 13, 2008.
Gail E. Teeple ’62, who majored in speech pathology, also bequeathed a gift in her will. Gail was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the honor society for education; was a member of Theta Phi Sigma Sorority; and taught in the Woodbridge school district for 38 years. She passed away on January 19, 2009. Gail was a member of the Heritage Council, which recognizes alumni and friends who create bequests or other planned gifts to benefit future generations of college students at TCNJ.
Gail and Wilma’s foresight and thoughtfulness will benefit future students in their academic endeavors. TCNJ Foundation salutes these women and others who plan to assist students by leaving a gift in their will.
