All season long, the field hockey team meticulously practiced penalty corners. That effort paid off in the ultimate prize when the Lions scored a pair of goals off penalty corners en route to a 3–1 win in the NCAA Division III championship game.

As a commissioned Naval officer in the 1960s, Raymond Taylor MEd ’77 had the opportunity to interview several Tuskegee Airmen, including TCNJ’s own Capt. Elwood T. Driver ’42. Those interviews were the basis for two fictionalized accounts Taylor wrote about the Airmen’s experiences in WWII, which he was kind enough to share with “TCNJ Magazine.”
